According to the adopted Action Plan for the Energy Sustainable Development of the City of Zagreb and the Strategy for the Development of Energy Infrastructure in the City of Zagreb, the City Office for Energy, Environmental Protection, and Sustainable Development participated as a partner in the Central European Green Corridors (CEGC) project, co-financed by the EU’s TEN-T infrastructure program. The key objective of the project was to provide continuous fast-charging services for electric vehicle drivers traveling within the region.
TEB Inženjering, in partnership with the French company DBT-CEV, a global leader in electric vehicle charging stations, entered into an agreement with the City of Zagreb for a “turnkey” solution. This included the supply of charging stations and associated equipment, installation of the stations at pre-prepared locations, connection to the local information (IT) network of adjacent buildings, the option to integrate with the chosen billing system of the client, reporting, and more.
Charging stations of the DBT-CEV NQC315 TEQCOc0147-EN-Quick-Charger-TriStandard model (Universal Quick Charger: Dual DC + AC Type 4) were installed at three locations: Velesajam, City Hall, and Park Stara Trešnjevka. The stations were equipped with DC 44kW/CSS (Combo-2), DC 44kW/CHADEMO, and AC 43kW Type 2 connectors for charging. These connectors are compatible with all existing electric vehicle charging standards, allowing direct charging without the need for users to provide their own cables. They enable the charging of standard vehicle batteries (24 kWh) from 0% to 80% within 30 minutes.
The project was completed within the contractual deadline of 90 days to the satisfaction of the City and electric vehicle drivers, who are the users of the charging stations.
