The execution of works for the installation of a telecommunications system involves:
- preparatory construction works (manual and mechanical excavation of trenches for cables and pits for manholes)
- pulling and/or laying and connecting telecommunication cables along the highway or railway track, as well as within tunnels
- installation of antennas, wall-mounted and freestanding cabinets, and other equipment
